users was experiencing a bug where they would get the wrong world when creating a world and it would be mislabeled so I fixed that by being more strict as to what happens when worlds are created.

Updated the Settings page with a prominent Instagram DM button at the top — clean gradient design, icon, and bold handle — plus a friendly "DM me if there's any problems or you have any ideas" prompt to make it easier to reach out with feedback or report issues. Also includes general bug fixes and stability improvements.

This version makes the first-time experience way clearer: a bigger pulsing button on the empty home screen tells you exactly what to do, the create-world popup uses friendlier wording ("Name this space", "Add up to 3 people"), and the in-world tutorial now actually runs guiding you to upload a photo via a big centered camera button, then save it with a long-press, then double-tap to send it to chat, and finally tap your avatar to change its emotion before swiping back. Behind the scenes, the tutorial only advances on your own real upload (dismissing the picker keeps you on the same step), your photo gets pinned to the top during the save/tap step so the prompts line up with the right image, and the save badge changed from a heart to a pushpin so it reads as "saved" instead of "liked."

Added a home-screen icon badge that shows a count of unseen messages and unseen photos across all of the user's worlds. On first launch of this version, the user is prompted to allow notifications; the badge only updates if permission is granted. The badge updates via silent push notifications while the app is closed and clears automatically when the user opens the relevant world. Also includes a new app icon design.

Added a one-time onboarding tutorial for new users. When a new user opens their first world: 1. Camera pulse — "Add a pic for pookie" with a gentle heartbeat animation on the camera button 2. Image pulse — After upload, the image pulses with "tap hold and release", then "now double tap it fast" 3. Avatar pulse — In chat, the user's avatar pulses with "Tap your mini-you to change your emotion" 4. Exit prompt — "Swipe right to go back" shown above the input section

Fixed an issue where your world's feed could accidentally reset on the same day, causing uploaded photos and messages to disappear. Improved overall app stability and reliability. Updated world creation experience with a new way to invite friends to the app.

When you tap the camera icon now, instead of going straight to the photo library, a small dialog pops up with two options: - Take Photo — opens your camera directly, take one shot, it uploads automatically - Choose from Library — exact same gallery/multi-select flow as before, nothing changed there Once you pick a source, the compress → upload → Firestore flow is identical for both paths. The dialog matches the app's existing style (white, rounded, black-outlined buttons).
