Open the app, and you'll see a landmark somewhere on Earth in its real time of day: an Apple Maps 3D aerial view, slowly rotating. Every 15 minutes, the scene changes to another place experiencing morning, noon, or dusk. You don't have to do anything. Just watch. The world flows on its own.

Across 35 cities — from the Sydney Opera House to the Sagrada Família, from the Golden Gate Bridge to Mount Fuji. Each landmark has a hand-tuned 3D aerial camera angle, crafted for that one perfect view.

Every new landmark you see is automatically added to your collection. No effort required — just keep watching, and your world map fills in over time. Switch to the globe view to see how many cities you've "visited."

Put the world on your home screen. The widget cycles through landmarks every 15 minutes, even if you don't open the app for a week. Morning somewhere, dusk somewhere else — a glance is all it takes.
