It's a great app, but the only thing that's annoying is that the camera opens automatically when you add photos. Also, will you be adding any nutrition stats for a month or a week? That would be helpful.
Great app but…
AlMatarus
I’ve been using Welmi for a few months already, and I can admit that the AI food recognition and the precision of nutritional analytics are impressively accurate. The app gives you all the essential information you need to adjust your day according to your goals - that part works really well. However, there are two major gaps for myself. The app only shows daily data, so I can’t see my weekly or monthly patterns, trends, or baseline stats. Without that, it’s hard to understand how my habits evolve over time.Even though I set my fasting period to start at 18:00, the app still sends me reminders that I’m “in deficit” and should eat something. It keeps encouraging me to take food during the time I intentionally avoid it - which defeats the purpose of having a fasting mode at all. There are other gaps but so minor so I still see the app as the one with great idea, strong core features, but these issues really limit the experience. Hope the team improves this soon.
Poor user experience and inaccurate results

This app is very inconvenient to use and the core features simply do not work well. The calorie calculations are often inaccurate, and the voice input is extremely frustrating. Most of the time it does not understand what I am saying, so I have to repeat the same foods multiple times before it recognizes them correctly. The interface is confusing and not intuitive. Instead of saving time, it makes tracking food more complicated.Honestly, it is much easier to use ChatGPT for nutrition tracking and calorie analysis. ChatGPT is faster, more accurate, provides better explanations, and understands natural language much more effectively.
Great app that simplifies calorie counting

BUT doesn’t overtake it completely. AI isn’t precise at all, you shouldn’t rely on AI scanning of your food. Still, you can manually log igredients of your meals, scan barcodes or with the help of voice input, which I find the best about this app. You dictate all the ingredients with grams and it counts everything for you. I also like the recipes book, helps to come up with healthy meal ideas
This autumn we made photo food recognition more accurate, so you always land right on your daily plan.
Plus bug fixes.
