This time there's something to tell your friends about. You can now keep a shopping list together: send a link, and whatever one of you adds or ticks off, the other sees right away. Recipes has a new space, Zastillia, our hand-picked catalogue. Your own recipes can go into collections, with notes and ratings that only you see. And imported recipes now credit their author, with a link to the original.

There's nothing in this update you'd want to tell your friends about. But it makes Zastillia more reliable, and that's what we value more.

You can now see how much of your AI allowance is left — and see it in advance, rather than at the moment something stops working. When it runs low, Zastillia says so before you start an import or build a cart. And if you would rather not wait for it to renew, you can add a reserve: it covers every AI feature and never expires. We also fixed importing from Threads: a link no longer turns into a jumbled recipe, and when an author spread a dish across several posts in a row, Zastillia puts them back together.

Custom recipe categories are here — create your own shelves like "Dough," "Sauces," or "For the holidays" right from the add or edit recipe screen, and rename or remove one anytime with a long press. And for everything that isn't quite a dish — dough, glaze, marinades — there's now a ready-made "Basics" category. San has his own "Basics" shelf too — his just holds half-finished features.

San taught Zastillia to listen. Your shopping list no longer has to be typed one row at a time — say it in one breath, and Zastillia splits it into items, works out the amounts and merges anything you said twice. And any recipe can now be shared as a link. It opens as a real page — photo, ingredients, calories and macros — even for someone who doesn't have Zastillia yet, and you can take it down whenever you like.

San taught Zastillia to read a recipe straight off the photos. Now you can save more than videos: TikTok photo posts, Instagram carousels and YouTube community posts all work — the app looks through the pictures, pulls out the ingredients and the steps, and works out the calories and macros on its own. Plus a tidier ingredient row when you add a recipe by hand.

Answer a few quick questions — household size, allergies to watch for, what's in your kitchen — and get a full week's plan in minutes: recipes with calories and macros, plus a ready-made shopping list. No more figuring out what to cook every single day.

A quiet one. San spent this release under the bonnet: fixes, sturdier plumbing, and a few rough edges sanded down. Nothing new to learn — everything just holds together a little better.

Importing used to pin you in place: paste a link, then sit and wait with the app open. Not anymore. Send a recipe and get on with your day — it processes in the background, you can queue up several at once and keep flipping through your book. When it's ready, the app lets you know and saves the recipe for you. San finally took the waiting out of it.

Now when you change the number of servings, the recipe rescales everything itself — the ingredient list and the numbers inside the cooking steps. They used to stay stuck on the video's amounts, so you had to do the maths in your head. San also calmed the calories down — no more jumping around when you adjust servings.

San taught the AI to really watch videos — to listen, read and look at the dish. Recipes from videos are more accurate now (and it no longer mixes up potato pancakes with chicken soup). Plus, every step now comes with a frame from the video.

Share the link and it lands in your book in seconds: ingredients, steps and macros, neatly sorted. Your recipes now follow you between devices via iCloud.
