The familiar RHVoice for VoiceOver, now in Ukrainian and English. Correct Ukrainian letters, natural reading of numbers, dates, times and abbreviations.
RHVoice UA adds four high-quality Ukrainian voices to iPhone — Anatol, Marianna, Natalia and Volodymyr. They work as system voices: select them in VoiceOver, in Spoken Content, or in any app that uses the system speech synthesiser.
The app was built first and foremost for blind and low-vision people, for whom a good voice in their own language is a daily tool for study, work and communication.
HOW TO TURN THE VOICE ON
1. Open the app once after installing it.
2. Go to Settings > Accessibility > VoiceOver > Speech.
3. Add a voice: Ukrainian > RHVoice UA > Anatol (or another).

WHAT THE VOICES DO
• Natural reading of dates in words: "10.07.2026" is spoken as "the tenth of July, two thousand twenty-six" (can be switched off in settings).
• Weekday abbreviations expanded next to the date; phone numbers read in groups with pauses, and digit-by-digit reading can be switched on in settings.
• Numbers, decimals and large numbers follow Ukrainian grammar.
• Personal dictionary: add your own words with stress marks — pronunciation updates immediately.
• Reading speed and pauses can be set separately for each voice; volume and pitch stay under VoiceOver’s own control.
ALSO IN THE APP
• The interface is shown in Ukrainian or in English, following your system language.
• On the “Languages” screen you can optionally download additional English voices (Ben, Clara, Sarah, Raj). Downloading them needs the internet; afterwards they work offline.
The app is free, has no ads, no purchases and collects no data. Speech synthesis runs entirely on your device — the text being spoken is never sent anywhere. The only network access is downloading optional voices, at your own choice.

The voices are built on the open-source RHVoice synthesiser. Our thanks to Olga Yakovleva, the author of RHVoice, and to the project community.

Dictionary entries no longer disappear after you add new ones.
The Ukrainian abbreviation for hryvnia now agrees with the number it follows.
On the Licences and attribution screen VoiceOver no longer repeats the element role twice.
