Subscriptions renew automatically for successive periods of the same duration at the same price as the initial period chosen. You can cancel the automatic renewal of your MEGA subscription no later than 24 hours before your next subscription payment is due, via your Apple account settings page.

App permissions (optional):
Contacts: MEGA accesses your contacts so you can add them from your device.
Microphone: MEGA accesses your microphone when you capture a video, make a call or record voice messages inside the app.
Camera: MEGA accesses your camera when you capture a video or photo or make a call inside the app.
Face ID: MEGA accesses Face ID to allow you to easily unlock the app's passcode when you enable this option.
Local network: MEGA accesses your local network so you can place and receive calls through devices that are on the same Wi-Fi or other local network.
Location: MEGA accesses your location when you share it with your contacts in chat.
Add photos to photo library: MEGA accesses your photo library to add photos and videos to your device gallery.
Photo library usage: MEGA accesses your photos and videos when you upload them, share them through the chat and when camera uploads are enabled.

When photos upload on cloud I can't see process of upload. Please fix it.

the videos disappeared

Terrible app. I'm upset that my most important videos were deleted. I searched for them and wrote to support numerous times. They told me nothing was missing from my account and they didn't delete them. But the fact remains that the videos are gone. And yes, these videos were definitely uploaded and stored there for about a month, but after a while, more than half of them disappeared. I sincerely don't understand how this happened and was hoping that support would help me. But they did nothing and considered this issue "closed." It's such a shame.

If the videos are still missing there as well, please email us at support@mega.io from your registered email address so we can investigate further.
Get a Google Cloud/iCloud if you don’t want your data to be deleted

I am devastated. All my photos, data are deleted… Precious memories, precious moments. I feel so ignorant yet I am so angry. I didn’t noticed emails that with warnings that my data will be deleted because of inactivity. I was planning to have my photos backed up, but war in Ukraine started and honestly I didn’t check my email at all. I was scared and depressed, so didn’t think about my Mega account and I didn’t think THIS would happen. How naive of me. And now, I log in to my account to find precious photos I made on my camera and nothing’s there…

New “Upload only new photos” option: when turned on, this setting backs up only photos taken from that point onwards.
