It is exceptionally bad. Terrible dialogue ("I have burned myself." "Are you sure?" "No, I'm fine"), horrible acting, detached voice and face expressions, buggy mini games, buggy rewards, buggy sliders, buggy subtitles that are not shown even when the setting is "on", and predatory monetization as a cherry on top. Even if it didn't have a "Silent Hill" title slapped on it, it would be just a very bad product, with the title it is a horrible abomination.

Yes, it is trauma
Very hard to care. Characters are unlikable, there is no mistery to unravel, only misery.
You just watch a few characters argue, get random hallucinations and produce robotic reaction in form of "o my God, this is horrible".
The "you create cannon" hook feels meaningless.
