Spendee Money & Budget Planner 4+

I really love this app

This program was recommended to me by my friend and I have never regretted installing it. I've been using Spendee for about 5 years and I can't imagine life without it. All finances are always in perfect order. The interface is very convenient. It is also very convenient that the application automatically calculates the remaining funds, so you do not need to manually add up the balance from your cards and cash. Recently had some technical problems for the first time, but the support team worked 100% and managed to solve the problem. I always advise and will advise this application to friends.

You're paying for the beta

It was my second try to migrate to Spendee. I paid for another month, but failed to migrate again. I've imported my transactions from my current app, and everything went relatively fine, except transfers between wallets - you have to edit them manually, but it's understandable.

The thing is the currency rate that doesn't change when you change it. It was easy to link transfers between the wallets of the same currency - the website asks you to do this. But when you transfer from a USD wallet to UAH wallet, it doesn't link them - it creates another transfer with its own rate, despite the fact I exchanged it differently.

When you try to edit the exchange rate from the iPhone, it doesn't change. So the whole accounting goes wrong.

I understand you're in beta, but I'm kind of tired of paying for things just to find out they don't work after several hours of trying. At first you didn't have transfers at all (so I switched back to my old app) then you added them, but they're bugged. Why do you charge for something that doesn't work?

P.S. What's the idea with those cards at the wallet page? Why not to show them as a list on one screen, instead of needing to swipe between of them.

P.P.S. After this feedback the developer annoys me with their copy-paste "sorry"-response every few days. I didn't get any confirmation of the bugs getting fixed (only advertising in updates log), so I change my rating from 2 to 1 star. Bad service.

Terrible synchronization with banks

The synchronization with banks works terribly. It seems like it takes eternity for the app to connect with my bank (PrivatBank). I’ve never actually managed to wait until the ”Waiting response from a bank” screen tells about a successful synchronization. What makes it even more confusing is that transactions may eventually be pulled (after 5-8 min of waiting). You just don't know about that because the loading never stops and you have to stop it manually or reload the app. Beyond that, all the pulled transactions have the ”Pending” status and there's no way to edit those transactions (e.g. change category). It may take a couple of days for them to change their status and become editable.

At the moment, the app doesn't worth spending $20 per year. At least for users from Ukraine who use PrivatBank. I don't know how things are going with other banks.
