I like the app, but it's raw and is needed bug fixing.

The new version of the app has bugs on iPhone. The main issue is incorrect behavior of the text field in the chat. It sometimes is hidden, after clicking the done button on the keyboard just hide the keyboard, but not sends a message. I'll be pleased if you make the behavior of it as in the old version.
It’s lugging as hell on iPhone

Dear developers, could you make something so freelancer could answer invitation from iPhone and see messages from clients in a normal way? That would be great to have these simple features from the biggest freelance company. For now, if I try to answer invitation, the text start zoom in/out showing me a tiny piece of the whole text and if I make some edits to my cover letter (not just copy-paste), the app will just close everything I was writing and delete. When I get notification about a new message and open the app, it won’t show me those messages at once, Upwork will show old messages like nothing happened. If I won’t to see those messages I need to find chat with that client, open it and update a few times so Upwork could show me the message and get an opportunity to answer. That’s crazy. Thanks!
Expensive, restrictive for newcomers, and subscription issues

As a new user, even after completing full verification including ID, you still get silently flagged for “additional review” — which makes clients avoid you. I spent over $2000 on connects just to test things out, applied to tons of jobs, and still showed up as someone who needs to be verified before clients can work with me. It makes breaking through as a newcomer nearly impossible. I had to create a separate agency just to bypass this hidden limitation and finally land my first deal.On top of that, trying to cancel the agency subscription is a nightmare — the page just loads forever and never completes. Overall, a frustrating and disappointing experience.
Much better experience vs an old app

I really like having almost full Upwork experience in this one new app. Ability to search and apply to the jobs, see the stats, and chat. The only thing that doesn’t make me happy is a bug in a chat. When I open a chat with clients my last message is loaded to chat box writing window. I can not just start writing a new message. When I delete it from chat box writing window to start the new message, my last message deletes from chat.
