Toastie turns your iPhone into a toaster. Work through the orders on the menu, or make your own sandwich from everything in the kitchen.
Make a grilled cheese sandwich from scratch: butter the bread, lay on the cheese and fillings, and put it in the toaster. Close the lid and it starts toasting in real time. Open it too early and the cheese hasn't melted; leave it too long and it burns. Take it out at the right moment and you get a perfect toastie.
HOW IT WORKS
• Butter the bread with your finger: cover the slice, on the right side.
• Drag the cheese and fillings onto the bread and spread them out.
• Hurry: customers are waiting. You have 15 seconds to build each order.
• Press GRILL, close the lid, and wait for the sizzle.
• Open it to check, or trust your timing, then serve.
• Every sandwich gets a score card: recipe, plating, toasting and prep time. Five stars turn it gold.
• Four stars unlock the next recipe.
OFF MENU
No ticket, no clock. Pick a loaf and put on whatever you like, from every ingredient in the kitchen. Grill it, and the cook tells you what worked and what to change. Give your sandwich a name, save it, and make it again whenever you like. Under CUSTOMIZE you pick the plate, the table and the wall, from eight of each.
