I've been learning Russian for some time and wanted to find more movies and content. This app has a great user interface and works very well. It has a lot of great movies too.

Edit - What is going on? All of a sudden I can no longer watch any content on Kinopoisk. Is the site down? Is it because I’m in the US? It’s still available on iTunes. What’s going on? I used to love this app and used it almost every day. If it’s no longer going to be available in the US then it should be removed from iTunes.
I love being able to stream (and sometimes download and watch later) the latest Russian movies and tv shows. The quality of the streaming is excellent. And the cost is very reasonable. Спасибо большое!

English voice but enforced Russian subtitles
So I have to watch blazing bright white subtitles on my HDR screen if I wish to watch a movie with original English voice?! I don't care about the subtitles language I just to want watch the movie in original language without any subtitles obscuring the view. For some odd reason the app provides only option to watch Russian translation without subtitles but English version explicitly mentions that I must watch with Russian subtitles.
