'Kana Bimoji" is an application to train users how to improve their handwriting in Japanese. Writing in Japanese is becoming more and more rare in our day-to-day life, but sometimes you might have to write something by hand. If you use this app everyday, you will be able to get comfortable and confident in your handwritten Japanese. With Kana Bimoji, you can practice anywhere you like -- even if you only have a little time. ◆Characters There are 46 hiragana and 46 katakana, and you see these every day in Japan. The kana were created from Japanese characters, so understanding these basic rules will help you understand Kanji. ◆Functions ・Rates how you write ・Examples to copy ・You can track your progress through repetition! ・A score of 85 or up is considered "bimoji" (nice handwriting). ・Scores are presented in tables. Nothing like a good one
it’s actually very helpful in helping you learn how to correctly do the strokes and the right shapes. but basically… don’t use this with your finger at all. use an Apple Pencil or some stylus. better yet, just practice on paper with a good old fashioned pen.

Some of the characters are bugged. a and wo of hiragana won't give me more than a 50 no matter how many times I do it or how close my character is. For wo I literally had it match all most 100% and still got a "bad" rating. Same problem with ro and ko in katakana. Yo in katakana is the worst. I can't get it to give better than a 0 unless I write it out of order.. this was supposed to be for credit in class, I guess if everyone has the same issue she'll let it fly, but this is ridiculous.

It’s fun to practice and try to get perfect characters, but I practiced the な too many times and it won’t work anymore. Anytime I press な character to practice it, the game restarts. I can’t practice it and it’s the only character I don’t have a great score on. Please fix this.
