This app is awesome! I can record everything very clearly. The only down is the button after you recorded the audio. The buttons are confusing what to do next. But other than that it’s a great app!

I got this app because it says you can manage the recordings into folders. There is no way to do that in the app as far as I’ve seen. You can export the recordings into the files of your phone, but I don’t want to organize them in the files app, I want them in the voice recording app. Once you create the folder in the files app you can no longer have access to them in the voice recordings app. The folders app closes down every time I try to replay the recordings. Also it would be nice if the app would start with a short tutorial telling you what the buttons do. It is simple to use once you play around with it, but I wanted it for the managing part, which it does not actually have. That requires you to know how to use a separate app that should automatically be on your phone, an app I don’t like to use. Please update to be all included in one place, no app jumping should be required to use the basic function of organizing your recordings.

Nice app for transcribing

If you are looking for an app that allows you to slow down or speed up memos, this is a great free option. The quality of my slowed down memos was better than in other apps, making it easier for me to transcribe. My only issue was transferring a memo from Voice Memos to this app, which I only managed to do by using “Safe to Files”, “On this iPad”, and then under Recorder. The “Copy to Recorder” option did not work for me, and made my apps crash. However, after figuring this out, I am happy with how the app works!

Mandrake Madness
I've tried many recording apps. This fits my needs. It is wonderful for interviews. (I've never used it for over a 48 session so I don't know if it records over that time limit). The sound is clear. The interface is simple. I transfer the recordings to my iStick as a backup I can use on my PC laptop.
