Schulte Table is a simple and effective way of attention training. The principle of Schulte training is that when searching for the target number, you need to quickly distribute and focus your attention. Repeated practice strengthens the brain's ability to control attention, so the level of concentration will be improved. At the same time, it also exercises the visual breadth, or field of view, which can enhance contextual perception and speed reading, thus being very helpful for reading and learning. However, the traditional Schulte Table training is somewhat boring and most trainees find it challenging to stick with it consistently, leading to suboptimal results.
This Schulte Table app has overcome the monotony and boredom of traditional Schulte Table training, offering the following features to aid users in achieving a more pleasant user experience and better training results:
- It provides 4x4, 5x5, and 6x6 tables to accommodate users of different levels and stages. Considering the fact that the actual reading is more about words, the alphabet table is provided as well. The characters in the table can be set in inverted or rotated mode, which helps users to gain more sensitivity and familiarity with numbers and letters.
- It offers multiple training modes, blending difficulty levels, with different training focus areas. Swipe and Mark modes are easier, while the Classic mode presents a moderate challenge. The Shift mode is more difficult as it eliminates reliance on memory, thus focusing on the training of attention and visual breadth. The Memory mode specifically trains short-term memory, also known as working memory in cognitive activities. The most recent brain science research has found that working memory plays a critical role in thinking and learning processes.
- It features a diverse range of color schemes, including vibrant colors as well as black, white, and gray options. The theme color changes daily, providing users with a variety and helping to alleviate the monotony of practice. Various sound effects and haptic feedback settings are also available to enhance user enjoyment.
