This is my review of a classic style metronome. I love it. It is 100% reliable without exaggerating. It ticks and dings intermittently at just the right time and keeps me accountable when I practice. Perfect companion for anyone who wants to be reliable when playing music with other people who assume that we will be using an agreed on meter when playing with each other. Be aware though it will get you into fist fights with your friends and they will become your enemies. But at least you’ll be right. This app will let you know who your friends are. Thanks metronome.

The graphics for this metronome looked exactly like the one i used when I took drum lessons in middle school. I was familiar with the slide mechanism. Immediately I remembered which speeds I favored certain rudiments at. The advantage to the virtual one over the real one is that I don’t have to wind this one. I feel like I should be filling out my practice card.

I like that it works just like my metronome at home but I can take it with me without having to worry about damaging the “real” one. Also I prefer this over others that I’ve tried because of the realistic sound options.
