Love using this app! Making color palettes from photos is easy and fun. Colors picked from a photo can be adjusted if desired before committing. All the options for creating palette images (with hex color codes) to export for reference are great. Log in issue is fixed now! So I have updated my review. Only problem is somehow in between the last time I was logged in and the fix, all my saved palettes disappeared except two (I have a paid version and I did restore purchases when I logged in again). I’m glad I had exported them when I made them, and will continue to do so.

Super helpful to have an app to pull colors from photos and make swatches. I used it to pre-mix colors for a painting, which made the palette WAY more accurate and saved a ton of time not needing to color correct on the painting itself. However, the free version ads were so incredibly annoying that I found myself hating even opening the app, and couldn’t wait to delete it when the painting was done. I understand ads are an exchange for a free app, but it made me not want to spend any time with it, which meant I would never even have considered buying more from the app. I would have stuck with it much longer if the ads were at least respectful of the viewer’s experience (like not putting them smack in the middle of the swatch library.) It was just super annoying using an app catered for visual creatives that was so visually cluttered.

I would like to give this app more stars however I’ve not made the in app purchase yet. I also agree that I’d like to use it in landscape mode not just portrait mode on iPad. Are there some of the palettes that don’t interfere with the photo? In other words, when I upload the bottom palette it crops the bottom of my photo. Also, it would be nice if the “Drop Photo Palette” logo disappears in the purchase? I like this app because it helps me planning my art work colors Will consider purchase of more options. Thank you!
