I have played a handful of the grill games and deleted rather quickly because of the annoying ads and how much I HAVE to watch ads for power ups to advance the levels. After a few days of playing, BBQ Sort really was THE BEST! It gives you excellent play time without popping ads. It gave you the monthly ad removal option in a very reasonable price. Then you earn power ups along the way so you can choose watching an ad to save your power ups or use a power up. The game is fun, the graphic was colorful and easy to spot the different groups. LOVE this game. Great work! I will keep playing!

Some levels can’t be passed no matter what

***I would like an easier way to report bugs so I don’t have to update this review every time. Update: deleted and downloaded again, the locked boxes issue was fixed; now I’ve gotten to level 377 where the second match made isn’t recorded in the match counter (top left). After making all matches, the timer runs out on an empty board. At that point, I tried all the in-level boosts but none would trigger level completion. I tried multiple times and updated to the latest version. I like this game a lot, especially that I don’t have to watch an ad after every level. I usually run out of time on levels and watch ads to get more time, so I am still watching plenty of ads and getting the developers their money, but the game flow isn’t interrupted. But there’s one big issue: I got to level 25? (two hundred fifty something) and couldn’t pass it,no matter how many boosters or aids I used, because there were only two out of three available of a food that needed to be matched to unlock a grill tray. The third item was behind the locked grill tray. When you shuffle the board, it doesn’t include the food under the locked trays, so there’s no way to get at the third item. I deleted the app and then redownloaded and started again from the beginning. This time, the impossible level was 94. I don’t pay real money for bonuses, but even if I did, there’s nothing available that would allow you to beat the impossible level.

This game is one I really like but way too many ads. So I paid $4.99 to remove ads for 30 days. I hit level 17 and glitches began . Used 2 mixers and they froze the game, but they removed the mixers and of course they didn’t mix (whisk). So I ran out of room and couldn’t play level 17 which also ended me playing period because you can’t move on without winning the level, so essentially I wasted my $4.99 since if I can’t play I don’t have to watch ads anyway.
