Cute, fun, and addictive but could be better

First of all I want to say this game is really fun and I love the books but there is two things wrong with it. One is that it is really, really hard to get food🐗🐟. Two, it takes SOOOO much food to do anything in this game but actually GET food😡. Also, I don’t like how the fighting works, it’s just a cloud of dust, the fun thing about the fighting in the comics is that you can see the romans getting bashed🤺🥊! Anyway just fix the food problem and I could give this all the stars it wants. I’m actually thinking about paying real money 💰 on this but I need to keep reminding myself about all these problems. I’ll probably delete this soon.

I played this years ago on Facebook, and this is pretty much the same. But this one has the loading screen trouble, which I usually see when it gets into an endless loop of the Refresh button that has no feedback until it goes to the title screen, freezes for a while, starts the game then puts up Refresh again. All while I’m sitting at the same place on my home Wi-Fi that is working fine. Also has a left arrow button on the iPad screen that’s nearly offscreen, and holding on a villager in the equipment screen to see when they will heal up causes the info to stay onscreen until you can find a road sign for the game to show instead. Sorry, but nostalgia and the cuteness isn’t enough when some of these issues have been complained about for years.

I love Asterix. I have all the books and board games. I read through the book collection entirely at least once a year. I do like this Game App, even though it’s getting very expensive! Occasionally... likely because of new owners and programmers, there are glitches or lockup’s but overall I give it a 5...

Ever since the updates I can’t even get the game to load anymore. I updated the latest this morning, and it still won’t load. The little blue bar goes over a few millimeters, then just stops. Very frustrating. Also, what’s with the sponsorship sign covering half of Obelix’s face? Who wants to see that. I’m scared to see what my village looks like now if I ever do get to play again. I don’t think the developers have a clear understanding of the word ‘remastered’ because this game certainly isn’t. Or at least not in a good way. Which is a shame because it was a fun game to play with beloved characters from our childhood.
