I’m amazed it worked so well and so quickly. Disclaimer only came after I paid the initial $9.99 that I would have to pay an additional $4.99 in order to actually be able to export to CSV or Excel.Because they advertised Excel and CSV right in their tagline, that initial fee is all I expected to pay. I hate being upsold: I prefer knowing the full cost upfront. However, everything converted correctly, including custom contact fields. As a result I can say it’s worth the extra one-time expense.

But I am surprised to hear that you had to pay $9.99 initially, as the app is provided as a free download. The optional in-app purchase of currently $4.99 is the only cost that may apply. So if it's not a mix-up with another app and you actually had to pay $9.99 in addition to the in-app purchase, please contact Apple immediately for clarification. Also, if necessary, don't hesitate to contact the developer through the app (Settings > About > Contact Author).
