토스카나 가든 - 농장 & 모‪험‬ 4+

This is my favorite farming game! I usually play video games and not apps because I don’t like pay-to-play. But this actually feels like a game. They don’t do ridiculous tedious tricks to get people to spend money, but of course there are things you can spend money on. Honestly, I probably will spend some money just because I want to donate to them making a fun game. There is an energy system and you can run out of energy, but there are plenty of things to do that don’t cost energy, and alternative ways to get more energy of you really need some - like cook food or watch adds. It seems like the game tries to help you out when you need something- for example, a merchant may have the specific thing you’re looking for, or new orders will include specific things you have excess of- I really appreciate the developers for doing that. It makes me want to keep playing.

This would be a fun game with a inviting Tuscan ambience if not for two things. One it’s trying “not” to be a farming-type game and their attempt leaves me wanting more plots to farm in rather than their push to have you buy items from a farm stand etc. and they are still working on glitches.
Secondly, I click the game on my iPhone 14Plus and can prep my lunch… eat most of it… before this game downloads and opens.
I gave 3 stars because the Tuscan and little Factories designer deserves 5 stars.
I’m keeping it and just looking now and then, like checking under the bbq lid, hoping it will be a good as it’s potential.

I really liked this game at first. Now at level 13 and most of the way through Chapter one of the travel locations, it’s gotten so hard to progress through the island locations without spending actual money. You have to use energy to destroy every single item right in front of you to even move forward, not just a few items like with the earlier locations. And some of the items are really large and force you to use dynamite or a lot of energy. I’m ashamed to say that I’ve used a decent amount of REAL money to try to progress, but to no avail. So, CONGRATS game makers, you managed to get some cash out of me! Shame on me now that I’ve finally gotten some sense. I would just LOVE to make it through one of these types of games at some point without the designers trying to work a thousand bucks out of me, because honestly, that’s what it would take to actually follow the story line. Never again. Thieves.
