Great app but consume too much data

It's convenient to book flights through this app. I just concern about data consuming. It seems the latest version has been added some codes that consumes a lot of data while using. I don't know why but the fact is I open it for a minute, search for a number of flights and it already consumes more than 200MB. I suspect if it automatically uploads some data from users' phone without notice.

It's convenient to book flights through this app. I just concern about data consuming. It seems the latest version has been added some codes that consumes a lot of data while using. Do NOT book airport transport with them

I booked airport transfer from my home to the airport. Driver and travel operator was uncontactable at the supposed pick up date and time. Driver answered my call 15 mins later and said he was not aware of my booking and turned off the phone on me. I contacted Traveloka CS for refund immediately just to be replied with copy pasted messages multiple times saying that they are verifying the issue and it will take 30-60 minutes. There are no channel to call them directly so I can only do that via the chat msg within the app. Eventhough it’s clear that the driver did not arrive and pick me up at the agreed time for the ride to the airport, it still took them so long to verify and confirm the refund. In the end, I booked a grab car which arrived within 3 minutes. Traveloka CS called me almost 1 hour after my requested pick up time to tell me that the refund can be processed. Would definitely be late for my flight I waited for their process. Better order grab or taxi than relying on this app.

Worse, when there’s actually a person responding, the respond was just to contact the hotel myself. What’s the point of Traveloka then? Might as well book with the hotel directly.

Prices are more expensive compare to others

If you browse and compare prices you will notice that Traveloka prices are very high, even I dare to say that they have the most expensive prices, whether for hotel or flight. With lack of promotion and discount, I doubt I will be using them as often as I used to. If you’re their paylater user then you’re getting the worse deal, not only that you’re paying premium prices you’re also charged additional fees here and there for using their paylater service, not worth it.
