Good game but too much stuff

Game review 6/10. It will be a good game if it’s on pc, too much info as a mobile game. There’s a lot of mechanism in this game, lots of characters too. Sometimes it’s hard to find what should I build, for example I’m not able to tell if character is assassin or a knight from the icon when playing. The characters are cute, I like the art style.

Very fun game, but…. (UPDATED REVIEW)

I’ve been playing this game a ton. It’s fun and balanced, not too grindy like some other rng tower games. However, the most recent update introduced a new Hero but she is behind a paywall (the premium season pass). If this hero isn’t free by the end of the season, it just shows how predatory this company is about making money. It’s ridiculous if we have to pay 13 bucks to unlock a hero in an rng based game

UPDATE: Changed my rating from 3 stars to 5. My original complaint was the hero, Dodo, being behind the premium pass pay wall. The developers allowed the purchase of this hero with gems so if you are F2P like I am, you can grind for the gems to buy the hero which I have done. Good move on the devs to allow new heroes to be unlocked with gems

Poorly designed unusable ui

There are tasks that require going back to previous chapters but the button to do so is obscured by a cluttered and disorganized selection of buttons. Most of which are for similar paid items and several immediately attempt to charge your card if you tap the wrong thing. On the subject of the micro transactions, they pop up every time you do anything, and often, the button that charges you is in the same place as the button you were about to press before the popup. (For Example: upgrading a unit or going to the main menu to play a round both have their buttons in the same exact part of the screen as the “buy now” buttons and doing either might prompt a popup)
