The San Marcos Golf Resort App includes a GPS enabled yardage guide, 3D flyovers, live scoring and much more! The San Marcos Golf Resort first opened in 1913 and was seeded with Bermuda grass the following year, making it the first green grass links in Arizona. Over the decades, Presidents, dignitaries and celebrities have enjoyed the lush setting and challenging layout that this classic course provides. Mature trees line the fairways of the 18 hole, 6,640 yard course and small, heavily bunkered greens continue to provide a stern test to this timeless Arizona classic. San Marcos is not your typical target style golf course that many players associate with the Arizona desert. Instead its traditional layout and classic design offers a lush resort setting that is playable for all ability levels and provides an enjoyable reprieve to some of the harsher desert courses.
