Weekly growler specials are out of date. I have gone to the store that had the particular brew I wanted only to be told my information was incorrect.In general the app is only useful until you become familiar with which locations exist and what they have.

I first want to state that I am an ardent fan of Mcmennamins and I think the passport is one of the most brilliant marketing campaigns ever. What I have come to expect from McMenamins is top notch quality, Great beer, consistent good food, friendly staff, and above all else a wonderful atmosphere. Unfortunately I don't think the iPhone app is up-to this standard. My experience has been that it is slow, clunky to navigate, addresses do not transfer to a mapping program to assist in planing a passport adventure. It crashes or freezes often and kinda difficult to navigate. I find many times the web site does this better. Also I was hoping for a few features that would assist in stamp retrieval. I have also found many times the what is on tap is not always up to date. This is annoying when I am wanting to track down a particular beer. What I do like is the ability to keep track of the stamps I have and to see information on the locations.Some ideas for the app. App specific specials would be nice, somehow incorporate a trip planner around the stamps not yet retrieved. The ability to track the prizes along the way. Some way to verify or show cosmic tripster status. The ability to book tickets for shows or movies and redeem cosmic tripster tickets through the app. It would also be nice if the history for each site/stamp was in the app. This would help make the experience a little more interactive.Since I am sure their is an update in the works I hope this feed back is helpful.

I love McMenamins, I love the app when it works, but it’s super buggy. It logs you out every time even when selecting keep me logged in and it doesn’t always let me log in, just you encountered an error, try again later (different error message than password being wrong which I got when I verified I was using the correct password). The stamps don’t show as updated on the front page for the count unless you log out and back in. I love the concept and the content is good, I just wish it worked.

There have been some significant improvements to the app and it would wonderfully. It’s so nice being able to see and find all things McMenamins in one spot. Everything is up to date now and I love watching out for current events, new art, and more!
