Thank you for updating to 1.1.0! We love being able to bring you extraordinary performances from the most talented classical musicians in the world. In this update we’ve added a powerful performance of Franz Liszt’s Transcendental Etudes Nos. 11 and 12 by Daniil Trifonov. The intense video was shot at the Verbier Festival’s Salle Des Combins in July 2015 and is accompanied by a scrolling score and beautiful BeatMap so you can choose how you enjoy the music. Happy New Year and thanks for updating to 1.0.3! We’ve added a very special piece of music in this update, the “Quartet for the End of Time” by Oliver Messiaen. It was first written and performed in a Nazi prisoner-of-war camp on the 15th of January 1941. To mark the 75th anniversary of this event we’re proud to present this spellbinding animation, from Marcus du Sautoy and Simon Russell for Sinfini Music, that reveals the mathematical patterns within the music. The piece is accompanied by a stunning BeatMap visualization and scrolling score so you can choose how you enjoy the music. We hope you love this new content. Happy Holidays and thanks for updating to 1.0.2 We’ve added two new pieces of music! • The “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy” from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite, performed by the Berlin Philharmoniker, animated by Sean Weston and Joe Sparks for Sinfini Music. • The complete performance of Schubert’s “Death and the Maiden”, performed by Juilliard String Quartet, originally filmed for the Juilliard String Quartet app. Both pieces are accompanied by stunning BeatMap visualizations and scrolling scores so you can choose how you enjoy the music. Thanks for updating to 1.0.1 We’ve added more music! In this update you’ll find the Prelude and Fugue in C major from Bach’s The Well Tempered Clavier. The piece is performed by Pierre-Laurent Aimard and, alongside the scrolling score and NoteFall, you’ll be able to watch a beautiful animation made by Alan Warburton and Sinfini Music. At the same time, we’ve made a few changes to the way the content is delivered so we’ll be able to add more music soon.
