Improved vehicle inspection UI and workflow. On the Vehicle Details screen, fixed a bug that was showing the Speed value in miles per hour for metric users instead of kilometers per hour. Fixed a bug with the Duplicated Rider dialog box that prevented it from closing when the driver tapped Allow Rider to Board.

Fixed an issue that was preventing the password-reset feature from functioning (instead showing the user the error “Something went wrong”). Changed Pass/Fail items and subitems that are skipped by the driver during an inspection to be stored with a Pass value. Fixed a bug that prevented the Notes dialog box from appearing if a driver failed an item. Fixed a bug that wasn’t showing values for inspection items that were passed when drivers viewed a completed inspection form. Fixed an issue with the Work Orders screen that would cause it to hang upon loading if the driver scrolled down on the page. Fixed a bug with the Take Picture feature that wasn’t showing the photo in the inspection form.

Redesigned how substitutions work to provide a more user-friendly experience. Added a Groups filter to the Work Orders screen that will show work orders only for buses in the selected groups. For Vehicle mode, added highlighting to the “Student Not Riding Today” text for students who submitted a Cancel a Ride request. Fixed a bug that was displaying buses with a latitude/longitude value of zero on the map. (This indicates that they don’t have a reliable GPS signal, so they shouldn’t be displayed at all.)

Restored access to the app for linked user accounts (meaning that the users are both a TAA employee with a punch ID login AND someone who can use the https://login.synovia.com site with an email login). Added a link to the folder of mobile app Knowledge Base articles to the Help and About menu option. Fixed a bug that would remove the list of available inspections from the Inspections screen if the user turned off Wi-Fi. Fixed a bug that would freeze the app if a driver submitted an absence request but there were no approvers assigned in TAA. (Instead, a warning will be displayed.)

• Enabled the ability for up to 10 employees to log in via the app — for example, if there is only one mobile device on a bus, now both a driver and bus monitor can log in with their punch IDs using it. • Changed the map screens to default to vehicle clustering turned on if the fleet size is over 1,000. (Clustering will be disabled when the user zooms in on vehicles.) • For consortium customers, fixed an issue that would show vehicle groups for a different account customer than the one the user chose on the Select Customer screen (due to the customers having groups with the same names).

When logging in as a driver, created a more intuitive work flow for selecting a vehicle. Fixed a bug where too many saved inspections were causing contention with memory usage. Fixed reported issues with the Forgot Password feature. Added ability to add notes to failed inspection items. Minor bug fixes. Minor UI fixes.

For customers using Vehicle mode, added the ability to render the app unusable when the vehicle is in motion. Only a gray screen with the day of the week, date, and time will be displayed (plus the number of unread messages at the top right).
