Warning: hard to put down once you start working Sudoku in color. This app has the color version as an option. It has all the bells and whistles: Highlighting each color, having color place markers, even graphics to show which squares still need to be solved in each color. It’s easy to place markers, then fill in actual squares without having to toggle between a pencil and square completers. Almost sorry I found this app because of the time I’m spending.

I love this game. I have the option to either play it with colors or numbers. I love the colors. Takes you from one level to the other. Each level is a notch up with difficulty. I love how you can highlight the squares to see where your colors are. I also love the little bottom grid that tells you how many and where is missing in each game. You can also mark your guess with a color pencil to rethink where to place your color. I really love that game.

This game runs smoothly with no issues. I have been thru three full rounds which have all been easy. I would prefer to cycle thru easy and difficult but this is the way it is. The color option is interesting but takes a bit of time to get used to. The only thing I don’t like is the color that highlights the squares varies at each round of 8 games each (all easy). Last one was light yellow which is very difficult to see. Overall would certainly recommend this version of Sudoku.

I’ve tried a number of free sudoku apps and this is the best I’ve found. I’ve been looking for a sudoku puzzle that had some good tools, and these are great tools. It allows you to see which numbers are completed, and the patterns of the particular number. I also recommend the free app Daily Puzzle where I found this. It has one puzzle each of 5 different types each day. Great for a quick break daily. It gives links to DL apps for each puzzle separately.
