We’re giving this a 3 1/2 to 4 . Customer service was good , difficult to understand representative. We had to call numerous times , if there had been more information on how this great device works would be very helpful. When You get the power loss warning every time it reports that’s very worrisome m, especially when you are where you can’t get back there quickly. No one told us that if you didn’t leave monitor plugged in you would always get power los, which as we all know is why we all got this monitor. We do feel more comfortable leaving our precious baby in the camper, now that I know to leave it plugged in. Just feel like it’s very important to have this monitor, but better instructions . It says help is available 24/7, when I called no one was there, left my number for a return call as instructed to do . NEVER DID RECEIVE A PHONE CALL, I had to call back the next day! I’m We wondered if we had picked the right monitor, with all the unanswered questions. We figured out most of them but would have saved a lot of worries and concerns.

I have been traveling in a RV with 4 dogs by myself and found it very important to have a separate source of temperature measuring that would alarm me while working 12hrs shifts as travel nurse. If it ran on battery (hence, no electric - no AC or electric heat) it would notify me right away. I would call the RV park manager and see what was going on. The app is super easy to use and overall the device was incredibly reliable. The only downfall was the monthly subscription of $20. That’s quite a lot of money for only having a thermometer subscription. However, in my case, it has saved my dogs twice. Because of waggle, I noticed that my RV lost electricity during a storm in CT. It was hot out so I was able to drive to the RV park and get the dogs out. Within 30 min the temp was at 90 degree inside. The second time I was in WY at -20 F and the propane ran out so temp was going down super quick. I was able drive to the RV during my break and switch the propane tank so the dogs could have heat. I honestly would have never known without Waggle!!!

Just as I thought it was working well for a few days, the app quit responding to changes so I get endless alerts with no way to turn off the device. Deleted the app and downloaded again but still doesn’t change. Wouldn’t trust it with my pets.Update: I got it to work for now through a bizarre way. I kept getting alerts that was driving me crazy with no way to turn it off. Finally, I went in to try to remove my phone number. I noticed the second phone number had turned into gibberish. I once again put in the right number and the app has worked fine since. I informed the developers but never heard from them. I have no idea how the phone number changed since it had been working fine.Update 7/26: Added a star since it has been working as expected since the earlier glitches. Doing what it is supposed to do and giving peace of mind.

First a comment on the Nimble device: It did in fact alert is to high temps when power was out in our campground. We returned immediately to the campground to deal with the problem and keep our dogs safe. That is exactly why we bought it. The app itself is very easy to use. I’ve set and adjusted low/high temps as needed, and sometimes turn off alerts when it is warm outside but we are home. I also turn off alerts when the device is not in use because it is relentless in alerting to battery power and low battery until it dies which seemed to be days. All good stuff I want to happen, but appreciate the ability to control in known situations. Not a problem with the device but rather the reality of cell coverage — if the cell signal is very very low then updates/alerts might not happen as expected. It’s easy to see in the app when the last update was received so you would know if there are delays. I also use the app to monitor the temperature in my rig when I am home so I know at what temp it really starts “feeling hot”. This has allowed me to set the alert temp so that we have time to return home before it actually gets too hot. It’s a matter of working with the device and app inside your rig to set the temps that work best for you. Very easy and minimal effort. No video, not advertised to support video (webcam). However, being able to monitor the temp is enough and allows me to relax knowing the dogs are safe.
