I have used this software consistently for about 3 years now. My club and FLGS uses both the Player and TO app for our monthly AoS, 40k, Kill Team, and X-Wing events. Plus we ran our large annual even with 70+ 40k players simultaneously with a 30 personAoS event without any problems. I have noticed once that my fun was bugging a bit post app update but I just had to log out of the app and then log back in and it worked fine. As well when I ran my larger annual event anytime I had questions the BCP support team was there to help with answers. My group likely wouldn’t be running as many successful events without BCP.

You can no longer look at pairings for current events because it pretends that they’re past events which you can only look at if you are subscribed to them. Which is gross and money grabby. The website is also trash, but at least it is functioning trash. I would recommend using that instead.

The UI is pretty easy to use and is not hard to navigate. That’s where the good stuff ends. I have two major issues with this app: It makes you pay for things others do for free, and the quality control is well below what they (as a company) are capable of. Firstly, they make you pay to get access to lists from other tournaments and statistics. That’s great in theory, but in practice the data they put out isn’t well sorted or useful and doesn’t apply to all the games they claim to support. This is supposed to be the primary feature you pay to use and is easily the least well designed feature. Not to mention most competitors don’t even charge for this.Secondly the quality control is almost non existent. Every event I have gone to using this software has had either pairing issues (due to software incapabilities) or a complete software crash mid tournament. This ranges from small events to large conventions. Not a single one was able to run properly using BCP. This is over a time period of almost 2 years, involving the same issue. If you are content with this software, it’s likely you haven’t even bothered to try something else (like tabletop TO or Cryodex). If did you wouldn’t even be using this. Unfortunately the 40k community is run by a selective group of TO’s who endorse this software because the private tournament structure requires it, which leads to this company having no real competition and therefore no reason to take care of their product.

I’ve used this app a handful of times a major X-wing miniatures events.When the app works it’s pretty nifty. Getting pairing digitally is way better than having to print them out and fight through the crowd to see them.But the app seldom works.I recently attend an X-wing grand championship in Las Vegas. The tournament runner tried to use BCP but it stopped working after round 2. The TO at the event had to switch over to a more reliable platform to finish the event, which added a lot of time and made the event run longer than it should.The user interface for this app is abysmal. It is ugly and unintuitive. Even their logo looks low budget. I don’t think a UX designer was consult when the app was laid out. And if they do have a UX designer, they should fire them immediately.I would not recommend using this app for X-Wing events. Their are plenty of more reliable software tools available.
