So I love the shows. But what is up with the app? Serious question. It’s been missing some basic controls for years! 10 seconds forward, 10 seconds back. The continue watching part is only good for a couple of days. I literally have no idea what chapter I am on for any of my shows and so if I find them somewhere else I watch it there. Don’t know which episode I’m on. Don’t know where in an episode I stopped. I have dropped series just because I have no idea which episode I should watch next. In 2022 you could overlook it, in 2025 there’s been no progress. I’m paying for something I avoid and obviously that isn’t going to go on much longer.

There’s a lot to watch and the content is pretty enjoyable, but the app is a bit of a mess. Search sometimes just doesn’t work at all. (For example: You can search for something you know is available, and nothing comes up.) Also, I can’t understand how a company with a video app in 2022 thought it was a good idea to leave out basic controls. There’s no forward or rewind button, so if you miss something and want to go back 20 seconds or so to see it, you have to pause (which is kind of a pain in itself, since pausing is inconsistent) and you have to drag the little progress bar at the bottom and hope you don’t drag too far. That is absolutely unforgivable. This is the ONLY video app I know of that doesn’t have basic viewing controls. That’s especially annoying when you consider that their syncing is a little off sometimes, so when you come back later to watch something you paused earlier, you’re often taken back to somewhere else in the video.The content is great, but the app really needs a lot of work.

Edited (see original below):This app has made a lot of improvement in the year+ I first reviewed it, so I thought I’d update my review. They have improved the quality of the apps usability and made it easier to scroll through the episodes. The 10 second skip button has really come in handy. They have also now developed an app for SmartTVs, (I use Roku, so I can only vouch for that one) which has made my streaming a lot easier. The variety of content is still enjoyable and has subtitles for most major regions. I haven’t experienced any technical issues like crashing or lagging. There’s only been one time that a scheduled release of an episode was delayed, but it could have been worse. It was only delayed by one day. I was going to cancel my subscription after the first couple months of using it but am glad I kept it now. Original (3 Stars):Overall this app is pretty good, but there is nsome definite room for improvement. The variety of content and the English subbing is great, but in terms of technical maintenance, it could be better. The biggest issue I have is that you can’t skip backwards or forwards on videos easily. If you want to rewatch a particularg scene, you have to manually use the tracking bar and just guess where it is. I’d also like to see this app available on more devices like SmartTvs or gaming consoles so that I can watch it on a bigger screen. It isn’t available in my region, if at all. My tablet works fine, but a lot of streaming apps make it easier to watch on multiple platforms.

Cannot see all of the episode numbers

Since the app got updated I have had a difficult time trying to scroll /select the number of episode I need to watch. For example when you click on a series to watch it will normally see the number of the episodes in small boxes number from 1 to 12 depending on if the drama has 12 or more/ less episode. But since the updates when you click on a drama. The episodes are now displayed in a larger box with a picture(of the episode) and a number, when I try to scroll to select a certain episode's number. I can't see some of the episodes number to select them, For example let's say a drama that you wanna watch has 12 episodes when you click on it and try to scroll to pick a certain episode you can't see some of the episode numbers, you can scroll and you might see episode number 1 to 8 but after that you can't see from 9 to 12 what you get is dark display. Hopefully you understand what I'm saying but basically I can't scroll and see all the episode number if somebody could please fix it.
