【ストーリー】
主人公は平凡な高校生。
謎めいた転校生、「万葉」の出現により、彼の身辺は次第に騒がしくなる。
巻き起こる猟奇的な事件、そして本人にとって最大の謎である意味不明の悪夢。
その因が自身の魂に刻まれた「闇の皇子」の力にあることをまだ彼は知らない。
時は遡り、平安の世。天命を果たすべく降臨した「螢」は、
ある日一人の陰陽師に命を救われる。彼の名は「鷹久」。
ほどなく二人は恋に落ちるが、螢は彼の体内に潜む「闇の皇子」の資質に気付く。
「真の皇子」を助けるべき天命と、「闇の皇子」との恋の間で揺れる螢。
タブーを破ったものに待つものは…。
