I had such a great experience at my first afternoon walk with this new Meet5 group! The weather was absolutely beautiful, which made the whole outing even more enjoyable. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming it was easy to strike up conversations and feel comfortable right away. The walk itself was relaxing and a perfect way to spend the afternoon. I’m really glad I joined and will definitely be signing up for more events in the future! 😊

The app seems to work fine, but it doesn’t appear users are being vetted very well, and there are fake accounts. They do work to weed them out. It feels a bit weird that anyone can see where you will be at a certain date and time when you sign up for an event. Someone definitely needs to take charge of an event and reach out to the restaurant/venue to get a reservation. But I got lucky on my 1st event. There were 7 of us at dinner, and we had a really nice time! The ages ranged from 44-71 mix of men and women.

Meet5 has honestly been a great find for me. I downloaded it specifically to make new friends and find fun things to do, and it’s been delivering. The first meetup was a little so-so, but every event after that has been amazing with great people, good vibes, and well-organized activities. I’ve already done three events and I’m headed to another one tomorrow. It’s been a fun, easy way to stay social and try new experiences without pressure.

The app itself works really well. I only have the free version so can't speak to the paid version. Biggest issue is people showing up, but the app does work hard to prevent that by encouraging people to confirm in a group chat prior to the event. They are constantly adding new activities throughout the week so that keeps it interesting too. They include free, inexpensive, and affordable activity options which is nice.
