Over 200 Italian verbs, five practice games and extra grammar quizzes. Explore vocabulary by topic and track your progress. No subscription or in-app purchases. Build confidence with Italian verbs through five practice games, clear conjugation tables and progress tracking. Explore 206 verbs, choose the tenses you want to practise and discover which verbs need another look. One purchase includes the full verb bank, all five games and additional grammar quizzes. No subscription. No in-app purchases. LOOK IT UP, THEN PUT IT INTO PRACTICE Check a conjugation in the verb reference, then test what you remember through activities that practise meaning, recognition, sentence building and spelling: • Infinitive Quiz: match Italian verbs with their English meanings. • Conjugation Quiz: choose the correct Italian form for an English translation. • Snap Game: decide whether the Italian and English sentences match. • Word Wall: build verb phrases from words and chunks — a gentler step towards spelling each form yourself. • Gapfill: spell the missing verb form, letter by letter. GET TO GRIPS WITH ITALIAN GRAMMAR Explore additional quizzes on key verbs and constructions. Practise essere and avere in the present and imperfect, test everyday expressions such as avere sete, and build familiarity with modal verbs. Consolidate regular present-tense patterns across -are, -ere and -ire verbs, too. PRACTISE THE TENSES YOU NEED Choose which tenses appear in the games. Focus on what you’re learning now, revisit familiar forms or broaden your practice as your confidence grows. A useful companion to Italian lessons, independent study or revision. BUILD YOUR VOCABULARY BY TOPIC Explore verbs grouped by themes such as Travel & Holidays, Food & Drink, Shopping and Feelings. Filter by topic to focus your conjugation practice on vocabulary that interests you, and build your word bank as you play. SEE WHERE YOU’RE IMPROVING Track your performance across verbs and use the Performance section to see your strongest and trickiest entries. Give difficult verbs another look and see how your scores develop with practice. KEEP YOUR ITALIAN CLOSE AT HAND The verb reference, practice games and grammar quizzes work offline, so you can look up forms and revise without an internet connection. A compact download leaves more room on your device. Made by language lovers for fellow language lovers. Happy learning!

More fun than flash cards!

Love the App, but even at my intermediate level, there seems to be some noticeable errors. For example, for the present perfect tense, those verbs which use essere as the auxiliary should have the past participle agree with gender and quantity. For instance, siamo partito should be siamo partiti/e. I noticed there hasn’t been a version update in over a year. Are any planned?

...learning app for 99 cents, but it really needs to include the English translations for all of verb conjugations. Also, there should be a way to slow down the speed of the quizzes—too fast and so frustrating for younger learners. It’s really a three star app, but hopefully my suggestions will then make it a true four stars.

Thanks for the feedback and the suggestions for improvements! Currently, there is a just a gloss for each tense rather than an English translation for each individual conjugation in order to keep use of English to a minimum for users who have different native languages, and to keep the verb screens uncluttered. However, it's a great idea to offer the option for a translation if required, so it's something we'll look into for future updates! Really good suggestion about the quiz speed - we're currently planning an overhaul to the settings section, which seems the perfect place to stow that option. Thanks again for the feedback - we rely on users to let us know how to grow and improve the apps, so it is always appreciated. Grazie mille!

Easy to use. The variety of games is great and I like the ability to choose the tenses in the settings. Would be nice to set the time on the Snap game.

Thanks so much for the review - we're very happy to hear that you're enjoying it! Great suggestion about setting the card flip time in Snap - we'll definitely add that to our list of features to look into.

Clearer tables, a new way to practise, and support for the new iPhone Duo! • Redesigned verb tables make conjugations easier to read and look up. • Meet Word Wall: build verb forms from words and chunks. It’s a gentler way to practise spelling before tackling Gapfill’s letter-by-letter challenge. • Verb Blitz now makes room for learning on the new iPhone Duo screen. Happy learning!
