Packard Bell Video Doorbell looks great but using this app... NOT SO MUCH!I’m writing this to plead with the creator of this app. It won’t let my wife and me operate the camera, basically allow both of us to stay signed in, at the same time! My wife works at home and I’m out working so we should both be able to see what’s going on without bumping each other out when signing in. Also, it is a relatively expensive monthly video storage fee! Which, btw, if one DOES NOT pay then this video doorbell is rendered absolutely useless! So at the very least 2 users should be allowed in. If this isn’t fix shortly I will be cancelling the service and tossing the camera in the garbage!

I bought this camera at Target for about $30 so I thought it was cheap enough to give it a shot. After getting home and not being able to make the camera connect to my wireless network I looked at some reviews on the App Store. I was having all of the problems everybody else reported having. After about an hour of trying everything I was finally able to make it connect. You have to make sure that your phone is connected to your regular wireless network and not a 5g connection! Your wireless modem usually has two options to connect to. By default it will always choose your 5g network. You have to go to your settings and choose your wireless network option that does not have the 5g written behind it. After I did that the camera works great and has a very nice picture!

The iPhone app been nearly unusable for several years now. When you turn your phone sideways to see "Landscspe view" the iPhone App crazily rotates the entire image around 180° to give you a tiny, badly distorted, upside down image. I'm amazed that Apple hasn't already pulled down this buggy garbage... then again, the PC version is even WORSE!The ownership has changed hands multiple times.. starting to feel like the app is simply the absolute MINIMALLY functioning product that any current company owner can continue to use as bait to support their "cloud service" ("Cloud Service"... which simply means "When you buy the product or use their app, then they use a tiny piece of YOUR Device/Bandwidth/Device-Processor as "Their Cloud Service" for free. To add insult to injury, they then want YOU to pay to use "their" cloud services, even though "their cloud" is actually made up of OUR individual devices!)

I noticed that it’ll show you a recorded video that’s like, for example, 3 mins long but if you watch the timer in the upper left hand corner, it’s really relooping the first 5 seconds or so so it’s not really a 3 min long recording. At this moment, there has been an update and it has been loading for over 3 days. I can not access my camera at all because it just continues to say “upgrading.” You really get what you pay for with this camera. I would suggest this to be a temporary camera until you can save enough to get a better quality one.
