Ok this is a great app I love the games and ways to use your Sphero (I have the Mini). But… ok well I lied there’s actually two things that this app needs. First: why isn’t there a way to view the battery life left on the robot? Like that’s such a basic feature and you have to use the Sphero Edu app to check. It NEEDS to be added pronto.Second (also Last): Since my Sphero Mini is older it says that it has Face Drive. Now I don’t know if this is an old feature (I’d assume so) but like that sounds so cool and I cannot find it anywhere so I think it’s gone but it seems so cool I would love to use it.Now I still love this app and my Sphero but these are basically nitpicks (except a batter indicator). But this is a great app and you should get it (and get a Sphero Mini if you don’t have one). (Also thanks for reading this essay)

I myself think this is a great contraption it is fun for all ages but lt is probably best for 10 through 14. It has games that you can control with the Sphero, You can also control it with an app on your phone, and it has plenty of other features! I only think they should add a Camera so you can see where you were going when you are controlling it.Other than that it’s pretty great . For Christmas I got four Spheros to give to my family members. They got excited immediately and ran off and played with it. So it’s pretty awesome and I think you or whoever you are getting it for will love it.

It would be nice to see the app laid out more like the SpheroEDU Drive app with the controls for the lights, speed, and movement all on one page. I do prefer the Play app for my Sphero Bolt because it works with the gyroscope on my phone to ensure the Bolt is aimed properly regardless of which direction I’m facing, and it does a few fun animations on the LED Matrix whereas the SpheroEDU app does not offer these features. I would also like to see the ability added to enable the Front LED and the Back LED and adjust the color as well as controls for the LED Matrix on the Sphero Bolt. Currently these features can only be enabled and controlled by writing a program for the Bolt. I’d like to be able to display a scrolling message on the screen of the Bolt, enable the front and back LED and drive the robot manually. Currently there’s no way to do this. Hopefully we’ll see an update soon.

Guys are we seriously not going to support our Star Wars droids anymore? Tell me this is a sick joke!? Like why?!!!! So my little guy I just unvaulted brand new from storage thinking it’s ready to rock in just a charge away and I come to find out there is NO app to control it? This can’t be true!? Guys it’s 2025 is this how you treat your customers? This should be illegal!!! How can you just take out money and then decide to take our controls away?! Make it make sense! I’m going to run this by a lawyer this is not right! You don’t get the right to end our enjoyment when we paid over $100 for these droids now they are worthless because you jabonis decided it would be a good idea to delete the control interface of your product like who does that???!!! I’m really frustrated but this is not right!
