I’ve been using the go-tcha for about 2 years now with no issues besides the occasional re-pairing once every month or so but recently I stumbled upon this issue which I can’t find any solution too and no support to get help or answers I’ve noticed my go-tcha wasn’t spinning stops so I normally just re-pair it as usual but this time it didn’t work I open up the go-tcha app and it doesn’t sync it just says attach to charger which I did and nothing happens and yes I re-paired it a few times and many different ways still couldn’t get it fixed I deleted the app forgot it via the pogo app and Bluetooth nothing.. deleted the pogo app rebooted nothing.. left it charging till fully charged nothing.. tried pairing it via the pogo app nothing.. tried pairing it via the go-tcha app nothing.. and the worst thing is there’s no support for this app so there’s no one you can contact to find a solution the app Is up to date just in case now how can I fix this???.

Works well so far. I had trouble connecting it on my iPhone 12 Pro using IOS 15.1.1 but figured out how to connect. 1st, I had to “unpair” the go tcha device from my iPhone bluetooth. Make sure the go tcha device is charged, open the “go tcha update” app first and connect and sync that way first (remember not to have your go tcha device paired to your phone Bluetooth at this time), once it syncs on the “go tcha update” app, go straight to the Pokémon go app, go to settings, scroll down to Pokémon go plus, open it and wait for the go tcha device to show. Click on it and then it will ask you to pair via bluetooth. Pair it, then go to your Pokémon screen and you will see your plus icon below the compass icon on the upper right. Press it and also press your go tcha device red circle so they can both see each other and connect. At no point did I pair the go tcha device with my phone’s Bluetooth directly, as that route caused it not to sync. Hope this helps some as it worked on my iPhone 12 Pro and my son’s iPhone SE, both on IOS 15.1.1. Now let’s see how good it works catching and spinning…

So I just recently purchased this device and I’m very pleased with it. You can have it active during raids and while battling gyms and it will still catch and spin for you. It can be a little bit buggy with connectivity but it just a simple turn on. The battery life is very good, I spent all day using this and it didn’t die until the next day half way through. It does eat through a lot of pokeballs but that’s not to bad considering how you won’t even check your phone and you’ll come back after an hour or so and have loads of Pokémon that it caught for you. I would highly recommend turning off Go notifications through your phone settings and I like to turn vibrate on for the Go-tcha app so I know it’s still working and I don’t have to reconnect it. I give it 4 stars due to the ease of use and how convenient it makes things, how ever the random loss in connection does get a little annoying at times IE. I was at dinner and used 3 lures. And it was working great then about 15 or 20mins in it disconnected without me noticing, it was at this point I decided to turn on vibrate other than that this item has been great!

I have had 3 of these over the course of 4-5 years. When they first came out they were insane, I could burn through 100pokeballs in minutes just cruising a parking lot. Things have changed since then it takes a few seconds per pokemon now so you have to be walking to clear out areas which is fine since I like to walk. The connectivity issues are kinda bad also now but I think that might be on niantics end not the gotchas. Iv noticed when I use it on walks it seems to stay connected longer then staying static around a bunch of stops. Walking or driving I can get it to stay connected for about 45min but when standing still it seems closer to 10. I still think it’s great I just turn my on every time I drive somewhere and it will spin stops as long as your below 35mph. I also like to take it on hikes so I’m not staring at my phone the whole time and can enjoy the walk. For me the catch rate has been around 33%. I never run out of poke balls or really any items anymore. I find myself deleting great balls and just keeping poke and ultras.
