HKT Home Phone app, a HKT mobile app with starred features designed to enhance fixed-line telephone service. Caller ID Display with Spam Call Blocking features are also available on your smart mobile phone.
Main features:
1. Voice Reminder Service (for designated HKT Home Phone and eye services customers)
- Set a reminder in the app. Your home phone will receive a call at the specified time and play a voice reminder with AI technology.
2. Caller ID Display with Spam Call Blocking (for designated HKT Home Phone and eye services customers)
- The App’s Unknown Call Identifier will help to display the available caller ID of calls to your home phone or smart mobile phone, which will enable you to recognize important calls. You may also use Junk Call Blocking to stop disturbance from identified spam calls.
- The junk call database provided by third-party service provider(s), HKT and/or CSL Mobile Limited is periodically refreshed to help prevent you from receiving identified junk calls.
3. Home Link (for designated HKT Home Phone and eye services customers)
- Each HKT Home Phone number or eye service number can be linked to four HKT Home Phone app users at maximum, enabling the users to pick up home calls when he/she is away from home.
- Even when out of Hong Kong, you can use your home phone number or eye service number to dial any Hong Kong number via the App using Wi-Fi or mobile data, without extra charge (subject to the charges from Wi-Fi and mobile data services).
4. Video Calling
- This high-speed function boasts resolution of up to 720p, plus high-grade voice quality, and is ideal for long-distance conversations.
- Consists of Call Recording feature and supports voice recording for both voice and video calls.
5. eFax
- Simply snap a photo using your phone’s camera and the system will automatically adjust the file and help you send an eFax.
