Het Biopaspoort is een hulpmiddel voor gebruikers van biologische medicijnen om bij te houden welke biologische medicijnen ze gebruiken en welke batches ze ontvangen hebben. Bij onverwachte reacties kunnen ze zo eenvoudig aan hun behandelaar ( arts en/of apotheker) of aan het bijwerkingencentrum Lareb doorgeven welke medicijnen ze gebruikt hebben. In het biopaspoort kunnen patiënten naast de biologische medicijnen ook andere medicijnen die ze gebruiken bij houden. Ook kunnen eventuele bijwerkingen worden vastgelegd.
