Mandatory-ish to rate. Haven’t even had a chance to try any aspect of it and it’s asking me to rate it 5 stars. How stupid is that of the developer, since all that does is leave a bad taste in the mouth of the users, who can’t help but leave meaningless feedback for the developers and other potential users, since they could in no way have any idea how the app performs!

Didn’t work for me; lots of ads

This is my second go around with this app. The developer read my first review and made some changes which I agree makes the adware less intrusive and the app easier to use. That said, there are a lot of ads. Before you can actually do anything in the app, you have to click a button called “Great App” which takes you to the app stores app review page. You don’t actually have to write anything, but you have to manual navigate back to the app in order to use it. This feature is an annoyance. To use one of the photo effects, you need to “unlock” it by watching a video. The video in my case was a 15 sec ad. I understand that app developers are paid through ad revenue. This app makes the process intrusive. I unlocked the photo effect called “Daily.” And then selected a selfie from my photos. The app started processing with a message “Verifying Photo.” After about 30 secs, a pop up message said “Failed. Try again.” Clicking the button took me back the the “Daily” effect where a spinner spun without stopping. The app was no longer usable. Essentially, the app locked up. I restarted the app and went through the same process with the same result: the app locked up and no photo effect was produced. After two attempts with this app (the first time prompted my initial review), I still have not been able to produce a photo with effects.Below is my first review:The app won’t let you use it unless you rate it first, then watch videos. Keeps on opening up other apps in the App Store to download. I wasn’t able to even try it out. Reminds me of Windows applications with endless pop-ups. A horrible user experience.

It’s a good useful application. The pictures come out great. But there are issues with using a filter and the app crashing on me. It should just be free all around without having to view video in which at times they don’t even load and I have to close the app and re-run it again.
