FingerSCAN DecedentID is a biometric collection application used in conjunction with our FBI certified fingerprint scanner and cross-platform agency management system, enabling coroners, medical examiners, death investigators and mass fatality emergency responders to capture digital fingerprint images from decedents for rapid identification and case reporting purposes. This app generates a complete decedent fingerprint card that can be securely shared via corporate email or secure FTP server.
The IdentiFi-45 scanner is rated FAP45 and is just large enough to capture slap and rolled images and small enough to make easy to position decedent fingers on the scanner. The Light Emitting Sensor (LES) technology makes it possible to capture prints from some of the more difficult to scan fingers.
