Excellent app for kids to learn about Hindu Scriptures

I would like to start with a humble thanks to Sriram garu for developing such an excellent app for kids. The thought behind educating kids with Hindu scriptures and understanding our history is extremely valuable. His effort shows up very clearly in the quality of comics and summarized version of the stories. My daughter used this app while attending Mahabharata class and I can’t remember a time when I was looking away as it kept me excited and glued equally. It reminds me of Amar Chitra Katha that had a similar influence on me in my childhood. I wish for Sriram garu and team to come up with more content like vedas for kids in future which will keep our Sanatana Dharma going forward to future generations too. I would recommend it as a must app for kids who would be interested in learning about Hinduism.

I just completed listening to the first and the second shlokas of the Bhagavad Gita. This explanation and the real life examples, which details the shlokas are amazing. Its amazing how a scripture that was written thousands of years ago is resonating to my everyday life in the USA. Amazing work. This is genius content for a young man like me who is so busy and taken away in the corporate culture. Knowledge and lessons learned from here are helping me by providing me ideas for the challenges that I face in my personal and professional life. $9.99 for 1 year is an awesome deal. Thanks for creating this Sriram. I can’t believe I am learning about Hinduism after moving away so from India. Its like when I first learned Hanuman Chalisa it was from Krishna Das in New York. I came all the way from India to learn Hanuman Chalisa in US from a jewish dude. Life is interesting.

The best gift for our kids

I have been looking for an app like this for my kid. This is by far the best app I’ve found. The pictures are so appealing and the story is very well translated without any changes to the original scriptures. The audio files of the Gita are not just for kids but are very useful for elders too. Extremely clear. I’d rather give my kid a positive screen time through this than let him play games or watch other cartoons. Kudos to Mr. Sriram for the all the efforts he and his team put in. Gurukula caters to both their mental stimulation and their thirst for learning, making it a better to-go thing to watch instead of silly cartoons and also a great bedtime story app for little kids. Older kids who love comics love to explore this. Its such a pandora of knowledge even to enlighten a well versed adult on Indian culture. I’m still learning everyday and so are my kids! My 10 year old reads the comics everyday before sleeping while my 5 year old sleeps listening to the wonderful narrations! Thanks Sriram Raghavan for creating such a gem collection which will be useful for generations to come.
