I feel that On My Way is a good way and a good incentive to help people to be focused on the road when driving, and to also reward them for doing so. I’m sure as they say that they’ve helped save many lives! That being said, actually getting rewarded for driving safe was a little tricky. I went through all the steps that I was told to do: Taking a video of my purchase of gas, making sure to say: “Thanks on my way,” on the video, and putting #onmywaydrives on my social media account and tagging two friends. I don’t EVER remember seeing instructions saying that I had to “make the post public,” or “submit the video on my social as well along with the hashtag.” But after several emails back and forth with On My Way, this was what I was told needed to happen in order to receive the $5 cash back in my Venmo. It would really help if there were clearer instructions. I almost felt like I was never going to see the $5, or that they were just going to keep telling me “do this and do that, and was going to lead nowhere. Fortunately though, after completing those extra steps, I did receive the $5 via Venmo today. That’s my only suggestion is to PLEASE add clearer instructions to the app so no one has to go through all that hassle again!!

So far I just had this app backed into a corner with my other apps working in the background. I have up to one thousand and three hundred dollars in OnMyWay money. I like the app and the concept of it. I have seen a lot of negative reviews. I just want to say there is a lot of potential with this app. Just two questions going forward. Number one: If I wanted to use my money to redeem to get a 500 dollar gift card with my OnMyWayMoney, would I have to just spend that money and pick the place I want or do I need to go refer people and have the amount of OnMyWayMoney in order to get that. I plan to use that gift card in the summer. Second question: I am more of a PayPal guy. So in the future if you ever add PayPal or EBay gift cards, I will be on it. Will that be added to the app in the future? Those are my only questions but I am satisfied with my account and what I have, I just want to know what are the plans for the future so I know what to expect for the summer.

What I read prior to downloading this app led me to believe I earned money and could then have all that money sent to my PayPal/Venmo whenever I wanted. That is not the case. You have to redeem rewards that get sent to your PayPal/Venmo AFTER you have already used your own money to make a purchase. Not only that, you have to record a video to “prove” you used the reward “as intended”.. you basically have to jump through hoops to get ~$6 at a time. They reply and say “it’s easy”, but I’m not an influencer, I don’t enjoy making videos and posting them whether my face has to be in it or not. And for $6? Absolutely not. And I’m not interested in investing in crypto. So unless they update their app with a way to cash out ALL of my “earned” money, WITHOUT having to post it on social media.. the app is useless to me and apparently to a lot of people by looking at other reviews.. Also, how in the world can they track how many crashes prevented and lives saved. They keep saying THAT is the biggest reward in response to people being irritated that they can’t cash out the money in a way that is convenient to them.. but unless they’re counting every hard stop as a prevented crash, I just don’t see where they’re getting these numbers. Plus the ones who use their phones while driving probably AREN'T the ones interested in downloading this app.So they’re tracking my location AND what I’m doing on my phone with the promise of being paid for it and I get? Nothing? I can’t say it’s a “scam” because I haven’t lost any money. I just can’t get the money they claim I’ve “earned” (NOT IN A CONVENIENT WAY THAT IS WORTH IT)

I’ve had the app for more than 2 years. First off, advertising that you’ll be paid is a stretch. You don’t receive cash, and in order to redeem “money” you’ve “earned”, you have to jump through hoops (spend your own money and advertise businesses on your social media) to receive very little of it at any one time. I do not have the time or inclination to film shameless plugs and put them on my social media for a $5 reward. Besides, with over $3000k earned, can you imagine how that would look?! Yuck! Nor do I even have interest in frequenting most of these businesses we can “redeem rewards” at. But still, I like the idea, and I thought the crypto option could be great. I was able to buy one share of the NY NFT a year ago. It’s been sold out for some time, with a message that California was coming soon. So I’ve just been hanging out accumulating useless dollars. I’m over $1500 now, and whenever I try to access the crypto reward, I get a black screen. I even uninstalled the app and reinstalled. I’ve tried accessing via the internet….also get nowhere. This is a HUGE disappointment. I’m embarrassed I ever referred my friends and family. And I definitely won’t refer anyone else, maybe not even admit I ever used the app because I look like a fool for allowing them to track me and use my information.
