I was looking for an app that could pull text from any document; on my phone or on paper. There are a bunch with in app purchases or free with limited use and annoying ads. This app is completely free, requires no in app purchases, has no ads and it works with literally any document. Just take a picture or a screenshot. I haven't tried it with handwritten notes yet. But I know even the best, most expensive software has trouble pulling text from handwriting.

Remember back in the day, when apps worked? They did just what you needed and nothing more. Remember they were free? And if you wanted to get rid of ads you could? NoneOf that subscription “joke of the day” type apps we are so unfortunate to be privy to in this era? This app will take you back to that special time. Here’s hoping it lasts! Seriously, please support apps like this. They are a dying breed.

Good but could have a few improvements

So I have somewhat good handwriting I mean you should be able to read it just fine, but this app can’t get it right. I’m trying to transfer my class notes to a google docs for school and this makes it really hard. I mean if you are willing to take the time to edit everything this is the app for you but if your in a hurry like me try something else.
1. Improved PDF import quality by rendering imported pages at higher resolution.
2. Performance improvements and bug fixes.
