We’ve been doing some cleaning and thought it was time to freshen up the look and feel of the app.

When you’re shopping online or spending more than usual, we sometimes ask you to enter a One Time Passcode that we text or email to you. We’ve also introduced an even more secure way to confirm that it’s really you making a purchase. If we spot an unusual transaction on your commercial card, we’ll ask you to open your app and use your face, fingerprint, or ClearSpend passcode to confirm your identity. Additionally, you can now choose to receive a notification alert when you make a transaction.

We've added extra security features to ClearSpend. As well as logging in with your username and password, you'll need to enter a one time passcode (OTP). We'll send you that by text, to allow you to confirm your identity when you log on. After you've done this on your device once, next time you log in to the ClearSpend app or website you'll be able to use your username and your device’s biometric authentication.
