VAST Smart, digital Car Rental VAST is THE App based Car Sharing company at airports, offering a fully automated Car rental journey. Car booking, assignment, handover as well as vehicle return and billing are 100% automated. With VAST you don’t have to wonder which car you would finally get and how long it will take, until you eventually can drive off. VAST is combing Car sharing and rental. The VAST-App does not only take care of customer registration and bookings; it also assigns the booking to a car – including the possibility to choose the specific car model desired. The car can be opened, started and returned fully automated within the VAST App. The whole “counter process” of a traditional car rental company (license and ID check, insurances and key handover), can be handled with the VAST App at any convenient time before the journey starts. There is no need for you to interact with car rental staff at the airport. You head directly to the car, open it with the app and drive off the airport. Our cars are equipped with dongles and other technology which allows us to retrieve information from the car and control the lock. However, it is NOT our intention to track the customer – life-tracking is ALWAYS SWITCHED OFF during the rental. In case of an accident or fraud, the tracking can be switched on in order to recover our car.
