Breakdown combines the summarized political information that I actually care about and has the functionality to send that info to my representatives. It’s curated, it’s simple, and it works. The design is easy to use and understand and so is the information. It has all the info to inform your political decisions and also has the ability for you to ask your reps to enact those changes on your behalf. Can’t recommend enough!

If you want to become more involved in politics, then this app is for you. Bills are condensed and summarized to make it easy for anybody to ready and understand. If you want to know what your congressman/woman is doing in office, this app has you covered. If you want to focus on issues that matter to you most, you can highlight those issues and see bills in that area. And the most important thing is the app is for everyone in that the bills are summarized with no bias attached

This app provides clear and concise information to make your own informed decision and stay current. Just as importantly— I love that it is free and my information isn’t being pawned off elsewhere. Very useful app. Breakdown allows me to find articles related to the topics I want to see without all of the sensationalism found on media platforms. I get to avoid topics that are irrelevant and focus on bills that I care about. The fact that it uses a user’s location allows for me to be better informed about political news that is within or will affect my community
