And we also took the opportunity to clean up a couple of UI inconsistencies… Those seem like small details but they are key to us. Dear Tribe - With the community continuing to grow on TRIBAM and members increasingly posting their great recommendations, we end up coming across “edge” cases which we had not contemplated. A very rare one caused the Feed to go blank last Saturday. Not ideal ! As communicated to our Members right at the time, we went straight into investigation mode and this new build fixes that unexpected issue. Again - our apologies for the inconvenience. Dear Tribe - As our Community knows by now, we are 100% focused on making TRIBAM the most useful and delightful experience to remember, share and discover recommendations about the things we love with the people we love. In this version 2.9.4, we have fixed a couple of small issues on the back of the huge and amazing update we published with 2.9.3. Here are the notes from the 2.9.3 update itself: This version 2.9.3 is a HUGE update... And it is all about Collections. Collections are lists of Recommendations that you create in the App: your list of Hotels and Restaurants you visited on your last trip to the Amalfi Coast, your best sushi Restaurants across London, the list of Books you intend to read during the summer... In addition to being able to create your own Collections, you can now: - Share them with your friends: directly in the App or through Messages, WhatsApp, email etc... - Subscribe to the Collections shared with you (or that you discover) so that you see, going forward, any updates made by your friend who created that Collection - Discover Collections of any of your friends on their Profile page in the App, and subscribe to those Collections that you fancy directly While at it - we made a series of other great improvements: - You can now also share single Recommendations with other friends in the App (not only through magic links outside of the App) - try, it is addictive ! - When sharing Recommendations and Collections in Messages, WhatsApp and other messaging apps, the links now look just beautiful with amazing pictures. - We also made some small design tweaks to the Home page and made it easier to remember which Recommendations we posted privately (they have the little private "lock" icon on the corner of the picture now) And lot's of other smaller things which may sound like details to you but which keep us awake at night ! In this update: ■ We have dealt with the “blank screen of death”, which may have appeared in the past for a couple of our Members. Log out, install this update, and log back in: having done that, the bug should never (ever) re-appear ! ■ We have improved the Search experience even further, in particular for Restaurants and Hotels. Dear Tribe - We are super excited to be sharing with you this new version of TRIBAM: the most delightful app to share and discover exclusive recommendations with people you know and the broader community… • We are introducing the “Post Fairy” ! An almost magical way to add recommendations to your profile on TRIBAM: just email or tag any hotel, restaurant, book, song, movie in any format (website, picture with details, spotify link…), or even a list of those (spreadsheet, note, long email...) and our Post Fairy will automatically add them to your profile in TRIBAM. Et voila ! We have already implemented 2 features coming from discussions with our members in this update: - You can now easily see and connect to the Connections of your Connections (your friends of friends) - You can add your Instagram Name to your profile (optional). That way, we may feature your best TRIBAM recommendations on Instagram We also fixed a whole series of small bugs. Enjoy and keep the great feedback coming !
