In the world today, there may be situations where you need to know where you have been recently. Where Was I uses the visit tracking feature of your iPhone to record locations where you have stopped during your day. This information does not leave your device unless you decide to share it via the share button in the app. Sharing lets you save a CSV file of your location activity. The app does not contain any advertising or any other tracking code; Your privacy is assured and in your control. For the visit tracking feature to work, you will need to grant "Always" location permission to the app. Visit tracking is very energy efficient and will not drain your battery

I manage a Pool maintenance route business. My customers are often not home when I service their swimming pools.Some of them are seasonal homeowners in the state of Florida. Sometimes their motion detecting security cameras do not pick me up. For a variety of reasons, I often find myself having to provide proof that I was at their home. This app is priceless for that. It shows the exact date and address and the time of my arrival, how long I stayed there, and of course, my departure time. They have used the data that I have been able to send them using this app to look on their security cameras hard drives and go back and find footage of me maintaining their pools. They are utterly surprised by how much motion their cameras do not pick up. Without this app, I would be helpless against their cameras, unable to prove that I performed the maintenance for which they pay me. Because this app records the length of service, I am now also able to bill for additional time. This app has helped me make more money.

It no longer reports the address so getting useful data from it is hard. I’d gladly pay more money if it helped fix this. This is the only tool I know of that helps me keep track of where I was for my business without scraping and selling my data.

Since the update last week, my app only shows times of movement, and it isn’t recording location. I tried to find a way to reach out to the developer but I couldn’t! I rely on this app for my business where I work hourly in clients homes. When it’s working it’s so fantastic. Please fix this!!
