We’ve simplified the way shifts are confirmed to make staffing faster and more efficient. Users can now post shifts that either auto-confirm all nurse applicants or use block scheduling, eliminating the need for manual approval. To reflect this change, nurses now appear as confirmed immediately for auto-confirmed shifts, instead of showing as “applied.”

Introducing Block Scheduling: The ESHYFT Manager app now allows Facility Managers to create Block Schedule shifts for nurses who’ve previously applied to shifts at their facility. This feature takes into account each nurse’s availability and the facility’s overtime preferences. Refused or expired shifts can be automatically reposted and made available to all nurses.
