In this geographic game, you will learn to know the names, numbers, new regions and prefectures of all the French departments as well as know how to identify them on the map of France. The quiz will also teach you how to find the largest French cities on the map and identify their departments and regions.
To get to know the French departments, just click on the map of France or search the list of departments to view the details, including region, number, prefecture, area, population and largest cities that are located in the department.
You can choose from several quiz modes:
- find the name of the department displayed on the map of France,
- find the name of the region displayed on the map of France,
- find the name of the city displayed on the map of France,
- find on the map the department with the given name,
- identify the region in which the given department is located,
- identify the region in which the given city is located,
- identify the department in which the given city is located,
- identify the prefecture of the given department,
- find the name of the department according to its number,
- find the department number according to its name,
- identify the department only by its form.
In each quiz mode, you can select between two, four or six choices offered. If your answers are correct, you advance to a higher level with increasingly difficult questions.
This application also allows you to view your current department during your travels as well as create and share with your friends your own map of the departments you have visited.
You can use the app for free by watching a short ad video before certain levels or purchase the Premium version which gives full access to the app completely ad-free.
Premium subscription prices may vary by country or local currency. Subscriptions will be charged to your credit card through your iTunes account. Your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You will not be able to cancel the subscription once activated. You can manage your subscriptions in your iTunes Account Settings after purchase. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each renewal period and you will be charged to your iTunes account.
